Draft — not yet effective
The support and privacy mailbox is being set up. This draft will take effect when published with a working contact address.

The service

TopTrack is an independent macOS utility for reviewing TopTracker activity, comparing Jira worklogs and submitting entries you confirm. These terms cover the app, website and hosted authorization service. Review them before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use it.

TopTrack is currently free to use, with no subscription charge. If a paid offering is introduced later, its prices and conditions will be presented separately before purchase. Continuing to use the current free app does not authorize a future charge.

Permission to use the app

You may install and use the app for lawful personal or professional work, subject to these terms and any applicable license accompanying the release. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses. No rights to Atlassian or TopTracker trademarks are granted.

Use only accounts and workplace data you are authorized to access. Your employer or Jira administrator may require separate permission. Do not bypass access controls, misuse credentials, interfere with the service or submit unlawful content.

Review before posting

Captured sessions may be incomplete. Durations are estimates based on observed timestamps and are not certified billing, payroll or attendance records. Review the issue, date, timezone, duration, comment and existing worklogs before confirming a submission.

Posting writes to Jira under your account. A batch can partly succeed before an error occurs. Duplicate detection reduces risk but cannot prevent every duplicate, especially when records are edited or deleted, local receipts are removed, or multiple installations are used. Check Jira before retrying an uncertain submission.

Third-party services and availability

TopTrack depends on macOS, TopTracker, Atlassian and network services whose behavior and availability can change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with every version or Jira configuration. Custom authorization servers are operated separately from our hosted service.

TopTrack is not affiliated with or endorsed by Atlassian or Toptal. Their services are governed by their own agreements.

Privacy and security

Read our Privacy Policy for data handling and deletion information. Protect access to your Mac and Jira account, and never share authentication tokens or client secrets in support requests.

Updates, suspension and ending use

We may update the app and service, address security issues, or suspend access where needed to prevent abuse or comply with law. Where practicable, we will give reasonable notice of material service changes. You can stop using the app, disconnect Jira and revoke its Atlassian access at any time.

Stopping use or uninstalling TopTrack does not delete worklogs already posted to Jira. Export any local records you need before removing local data.

Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise that every session will be captured or every comparison will be error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You remain responsible for reviewing the worklogs you authorize.

Changes and contact

Revisions will be dated on this page. We will communicate material changes appropriately and obtain agreement where required. Contact us through Support with questions or disputes. These terms do not remove any mandatory protections or court rights available under applicable law.
